Lion's Mane Gummies
Lion's mane (Hericium erinaceus) in a honey gummy, with B12, lemon and ginger. 4:1 cold-water extracted and lab-tested.
What lion's mane is
Hericium erinaceus — the shaggy white mushroom that looks like its name. It's both edible and one of the most studied functional mushrooms, traditionally used to support memory, focus and clarity. It's the one most people reach for first, and it's the daytime end of the adaptogen spectrum.
Why pair it with B12
Lion's mane and B12 work on adjacent parts of the same problem. B12 is required for normal nerve function and its absence shows up as fog and fatigue — which is why topping it up matters most for anyone eating little or no meat. Sunshine Mane carries both, so you aren't stacking two supplements to cover one gap.
The lemon and ginger aren't decoration either: ginger settles the stomach, which is where a concentrated extract can otherwise be felt.
Extract, not powder
Ours is a 4:1 cold-water extract of fruiting body — four parts mushroom to one part finished extract, cold water rather than hot alcohol so the polysaccharides survive.
This is the thing to check when you compare lion's mane gummies. A lot of cheap ones use mycelium grown on grain and milled whole, which means a large share of what you're paying for is the grain substrate, not the mushroom. If a label says "mushroom powder" without naming a ratio or a part used, that's usually why.
How to take it
One to two drops daily, in the morning or early afternoon. Lion's mane is cumulative — give it two to four weeks of consistent use before you judge it. Not a stimulant, so it won't keep you up, but the point of it is daytime clarity.

Frequently asked questions
Is lion's mane psychedelic?
No. Lion's mane is an edible culinary mushroom with no psilocybin or psychoactive compounds of any kind.
When should I take lion's mane gummies?
Morning or early afternoon. Lion's mane supports focus and clarity rather than acting as a stimulant, so it pairs naturally with the working day.
How long does lion's mane take to work?
Two to four weeks of daily use is the usual window. The effect is cumulative rather than dose-by-dose.
Fruiting body or mycelium — does it matter?
It does. Mycelium grown on grain and milled whole includes the grain substrate, so a given weight contains less actual mushroom. Ours is a 4:1 extract of fruiting body.
Can I take lion's mane with coffee?
Yes, and many people do. Lion's mane is not a stimulant and does not compound caffeine's effects.
